Only one because I did a video on it:
A casual video or the original, which we know had nothing to do with the lyrics (sorry, that alone means itās not for kids): this was an interesting thought of what happened before Jane Fonda debuted with the very first fitness VHS cassette, in 1982, which went on to become the top-selling one (if you add in DVD sales, Iām not sure whether the title still is or not). Sure, she can be awarded, recognized, and honored for that, but itās also interesting to see what was happening beforehand. Aerobics were already popular and Oliviaās original video made me think of outfits before Jane Fondaās video. Itās fun to see these older memories, but also just this feeling of knowing these took place before fitness videocassettes were even released. Others, like Kathy Smith and Denise Austin released videos later on in the decade, but were still doing aerobics back in the day. Except for Jane Fondaās videocassette, all live images were researched 1981, the year of the song. Please note that search engines can be inaccurate and images can be mistagged with the wrong year. Images used were in the order of the search results. I donāt like to discriminate; I prefer this āmixed bagā approach. The fictional characters, which are for a certain audience, came half a decade later in 1986. I figured since Fondaās video came after ONJās hit, why not also add in some other post āPhysicalā pictures to continue the spirit of fitness!
